July 4, 2011 - Before the Belgian Air Force international airshow held at Koksijde AB between July 5th and 7th, an air-to-air shoot was organised by COMOPSAIR DGIPR. Many photographers were able to shoot Mitch above the Belgian coastline from the back of a C-130. This always makes some nice photographing. You can see the result of this shoot here in an album from Belgian Air Force photographer Bart Roselle.

April 12, 2011 - Mitch as been training over the French 'Basin d' Arcachon' from April 12th till 14th in final preparation of the 2011 demo season. He was invited by the French Patrouille de France to practise at Cazaux AB. This training is very important to work intensively on the flying program and to further refine the skills to perform over water. Besides this the noise effect of such training sessions can be reduced and moved to uninhabited areas. For the different French demonstration teams (Patrouille de France, Rafale, Alpha Jet, Cartouche D'Oré (Epsilon) en de Equipe de Voltige (Extra 300) this session is an obligatory training for the start of their demo season. All demos have to be performed in a perfect and save manner.
Take a look at this 'exotic' training session in the dedicated photo album.

March 3, 2011 - Mitch has started training again for the upcoming season. The year 2011 will mark the final season of the Kleine Brogel based team. On many days Mitch is spotted flying his display sequence over the base. The entire team is getting momentum to make the 2011 season one of the best ever. As many of you already noticed, 'Vortex' has been pimped a little bit with extra Belgian Air Force titels and logos to mark the 65th anniversary of the BAF. A nice little preview can be seen in our very first photo album of this year.
Training will continue up to the start of the new season in early June. The final display calander will be forthcoming in May.
