August 22-23, 2009 - The second leg of the show season was kicked off at Rygge in Norway. Both days had magnificent mid-August Norwegian weather which made it even nicer for the team. The team was very surprised by the Norwegian enthusiasm for Mitch's display. This resulted in a more then average sale at the PR tent afterwards.
On August 21st, we arrived in Rygge with David, James, Eddy and Patrick in the early morning. We put our material aside and set everything ready for the recovery of Mitch and Coma. Mitch arrived on time and we serviced the plane for the upcoming weekend. The weather conditions were very good. Mitch did his training and afterwards we were invited for a little party. This is really getting a habit.
I met with Major Terje who arranged our PR-stand and transports in a very short time. After the party we went to the motel not far from the base. It was a very nice motel, thanks for that.
On Saturday the airshow started early. We went to our PR-place, which was in the hangar. A very good place for us with a lot of thanks to the PR-manager.
The team went to the planes and serviced them for the display. Everything went well. Mitch had the last flight off the day. Everyone came to us and said it was a great show.
Sunday was quite the same. PR went well. The sun was shining and a lot of people attended the event. The planes were good and Mitch had a fun day. At night we went to the motel and talked with the American aircrew. Thanks for the night with a lot of laughter.
This was a great airshow. We want to thank everyone. Also the drivers for transport. Hope to attend again in the future..
