| Skrydstrup airshow report |

The team enjoyed the incredible weather. Always a nice way to start of a new season with a modified bird, nice weather and a lot of people to attend the show.
Finally!!! Thursday morning on June 3rd, we left for our first airshow of the 2010 season. After a hefty ride of little over 14 hours with a lot of traffic jams in Germany we arrived at Skrydstrup AB around 9 pm. We enjoyed a lovely nights rest with 'Mitch' and 'Fester' arriving on June 4th in the morning. The new paint scheme on #FA-110 received a lot of attraction from the local military.
In the evening there was a pleasant welcome party in an old hangar at the base which was completely modified to a real party venue. Everything was set up ta make this a party to remember, which succeeded without any problem!
![]() On Saturday (June 5th), Mitch flies his rehearsal. On Sunday we needed to get out of bed quite early because the airshow already started at 8am!! The organisation clearly expects a lot of people to attend. And they are absolutely right about that. Around 130,000 people attend the 2010 edition of the Skrydstrup when the doors close. Evidently the nice weather has played a major part in that. Besides that, the show was magnificent. Mitch flies his new demo exactly the way he ended last season, impeccable.
On Monday the team returns home after the F-16s have departed Skrydstrup.
Many thanks to the organisation, which was truly fantastic. Also a lot of thanks to the Skrydstrup cross servicing team.
