May 12, 2011 - 'La Douce France'. The first venue for the 2011 season was at Dijon AB. The reason for the gathering was the disbandment of 'EC 1/2 Cigognes' flying Mirage 2000-5 airframes. A small program was flown including the French Mirages, Swiss F/A-18C and off course our own Mitch flying the F-16AM.

On May 12th the team had to attend its first performance of the 2011 season. This sadly marks the final season of the Kleine Brogel demo team.

After finishing all the protocol - a parade with all the bases personnel - Mitch was invited to brighten up the departure of the Mirage 2000 fighters to Luxeuil. Together with the Swiss F/A-18C and the French Breitling team Mitch flew an impeccable demo. The airshow was concluded with a fly-by of 4 French Mirage 2000.

What was very clear after his performance is that Mitch and the team are ready for the new season.

After the official part this gathering was concluded with a nice wine evening under the guidance of the 349 sqn wine professionals 'Mitch' and 'Joyce'. We have to admit. They really know the difference between 'Vin de Bourgogne' and 'Chateau migraine'.
