Training in Corsica

Training - Antoine GrondeauApril 27, 2010 - Yesterday, Mitch has left for Corsica to add some more hours to the training syllabus. From Solenzara AB, he will be training together with the French Rafale demo team. Corsica offers practically unrestricted airspace for such flights as a very good chance on fair weather. Thus, training can be optimised in optimal conditions.

Mitch is preparing the final sets of manouvers to complete the 2010 show display. More info on the final display sequence will be posted in May.

Demoteam aerial photo shoot

Airshoot - Eddy KellensApril 26, 2010 - Before leaving to Corsica for another training cycle, Mitch took the time to get some aerial photography done of his new bird for the 2010 season. The Belgian Air Component's photographer - Eddy "Bink" Kellens - strapped himself in the back-seat of another F-16BM and took these amazing images. The dual seater was piloted by Capt. Ken "Joyce" De Trogh, which is also Mitch's coach for the coming season.

A collection of this aerial photo session can be seen in the 2010 gallery.
