Beauvechain airshow report

Beauvechain airshow July 3, 2010 - Here it is again. The first weekend of July, bringing us back home. One of the nice - but also a little strange - things of being a member of 'small' air force is that the number of displays abroad far exceeds the number of displays at home. This year that number will halt at two. And here's the first one. This year the hosts are the 1st Wing at Beauvechain/Bevekom AB. Cambrai airshow report

Cambrai airshow June 27, 2010 - Crossing the English Channel seems to be getting a habit. Certainly on the same day. We are getting to look like the Eurostar train. The organisation at Biggin-Hill was top, as ever. So a nice venue, nice weather, a nice hotel, nice people, what more can you expect.....

Orleans airshow report

Orleans airshow June 20, 2010 - The second stop on French soil brought the team to Orléans AB, south of Paris. For the second time this season 'Mace' - the 349 sqn mascot - also made the trip. Mitch took the opportunity to take Mace into the air for the display. This way Mace's logbook could be further filled with exiting thrills ans most important, many more flight hours.

Since Mitch was also displaying at Gilze-Rijen the very same day, a second team was dispatched to Orléans to take Mitch in and prepare for another demo.
