For the 2009 demo season a new F-16 was painted in full demo colors. A tradition that only started on a permanent basis with the former demo pilot 'Mickey' Artiges. As with the former F-16 #FA-131, the new color scheme was chosen on the basis of an overal gray stencilling. This was decided to preserve - and prevent hampering - the operational status of the aircraft. Although the new F-16 has some resemblance with its predecessor as far as color usage is concerned, the scheme itself is completely different.

We show an overview of the final design drawings, accompagnied with some pictures to display the ultimate result.
