| F-16 Solo Display Aircraft 2010 |

For the 2010 demo season a new F-16 needed to be painted in full demo colors. Since the former F-16, #FA-134, was still an F-16 updated to M2 standards, the aircraft needed to return to SABCA for it's M5 upgrade. Another airframe was found in the form of #FA-110. In contradiction to last year's demo F-16, a somewhat more colorful design was chosen to be painted on this new aircraft. Besides some standard grey and black colors, a touch of different blue shades were used this year. The aircraft is dubbed "Vortex", indicating the striping that was painted on the wings and fuselage. The design was again realised by Johan Wolfs and Peter Verheyen, thoroughly executed by the KB paintshop. We show an overview of the final design drawings, accompanied with some pictures to display the ultimate result. Top view:
